Diabetes Event Prediction

Background use of AI to predict a future diabetic event

Using statistical modeling and predictive analytics, the system -


  1. Monitored and infered the trend of blood glucose readings

  2. Determine if a future reading would likely be out of range (high or low)

  3. Push a notification to the user informing them of the trend and anticipated event, even if the companion app was not open and did not have focus

  4. In the message, encourage them to engage with a provider or coach, and provide resources for further education
